Following a discussion of your project, ordering your Barry guitar requires a $1000.00 deposit to reserve your place in my building schedule. Following, probably much more discussion, a final price is arrived at requiring subsequent payments in 1/3’s . i.e. top up first deposit payment to a 1/3 of final price, when the build is started; next 1/3 when it goes into finishing and final payment upon completion. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. Typical wait time is 12 to 18 month.
My aim is to make you an instrument you will cherish for a lifetime and to provide on-going service to keep you happy and picking, but please be advised that.. your G.W. Barry guitar carries a lifetime warrantee on materials and workmanship to the original purchaser only. Non proprietary parts such as machine-heads,pick-up and case are not covered under this warrantee. Damage due to inadequate humidification — insufficient or excessive — is not covered. Damage due to improper handling is not covered.
In consideration of fluctuations in climate, your guitar was assembled at a relative humidity reading of 40% (room temp). This average accounts for changes in yearly humidity levels...high in summer, low in winter. Ideally your guitar should be kept in a consistent room temperature with a relative humidity between 40 to 50%. These changes should be monitored with a calibrated hygrometer.
